Pumpkin Publishes
Just a note that I heard today that two of my photographs were published in the September issue of Pumpkin Magazine. I checked their Web site and noticed that the issue in question was one I had already seen on the newsstands. I recognized it not because I have an interest in that particular women's magazine but because when I first noticed the model on the cover I thought she looked a bit like Helen Hunt as an Asian woman.
I wondered why I was told about this a week after the magazine hit the stands but in any case I was glad to hear the news and rushed to the nearest book store to buy a copy. One photo takes up a full page, though it was cropped from a horizontal to fit the vertical format of the page. The other photo is one eighth of a page. Both look pretty good and my name is spelled correctly.
The photographs were two that I have with Q Photo International. I suppose I will hear about the pay within a month or so.
